Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of optimizemyads.com and the services sold there by Optimize My Ads, a brand of PixelFolk Inc. ("we," "us," "our"), based in Ontario, Canada. By using the website, our free tools or our free content, booking a call, or buying any of our services, you agree to them.
1. Using the website
The website and its content are provided for information. You may use it for lawful purposes only. All content on the site, including copy, design, images and the Optimize My Ads name and mark, belongs to PixelFolk Inc. and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Nothing on the website is a guarantee of advertising performance or business results. Any figures, charts, examples or descriptions, including sample reports and illustrations, are for demonstration only and are not results from a real account.
1.1 Free tools and content
We offer free tools on the website, such as the BFCM Budget Ramp Calculator, and free content, such as The Changelog. You can use them, and any plans our tools produce, for your own business.
Our tools apply the OMA planning framework: conservative assumptions based on how the Optimize My Ads team approaches scaling. They are not Meta, Google or other platform requirements. A plan from a free tool is general guidance based only on the numbers you enter. It is not advice for your specific account, it is not a review of your account, and it does not make you a client.
You decide whether and how to use a plan or anything you read in our content, and you are responsible for your own budgets and ad spend. We accept no liability for performance, spend or any other outcome resulting from your use of our free tools or content.
If you give us your details to unlock a plan or subscribe to our content, we handle them as described in our Privacy Policy. We only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them.
2. What we sell
We offer paid advertising services, which may change from time to time. The current services, with what each includes and costs, are described on our website.
The details of your purchase are set out in what we call your order: the service page, offer page or checkout you buy from, plus any written confirmation, proposal, invoice or email from us that sets out scope, price, dates or deliverables. If your order and these terms disagree, your order wins for that purchase. Anything not in your order is not included unless we agree to it in writing.
Our services fall into three types:
- One-time services, such as a Live Audit or a recorded account review. We review your account and give you our findings, with the deliverables and timing set out in your order.
- Monthly services, such as The Co-Pilot. Our team runs agreed advertising channels for you on an ongoing basis, with the reporting and calls set out in your order.
- Fixed-period engagements, such as a seasonal campaign takeover. Our team runs agreed channels for you between a start date and an end date, then hands the account back to you.
Before most paid services, we offer a free introductory call so we can both check the fit. The call is free and does not commit either of us to anything.
3. How to buy and pay
Depending on the service, you buy through a checkout on our website, through a payment link we send you, or by invoice. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details go to Stripe and are not stored by us.
- One-time services are paid in full before the work starts.
- Monthly services are billed monthly in advance. The first month is paid before work starts.
- Fixed-period engagements are paid as set out in your order, before the start date unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Where your order says a payment for one service can be credited toward another, the credit applies only within the time limit stated in your order and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Prices are in the currency shown on your checkout, payment link or invoice, and are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added where required.
Your advertising spend is separate from our fees. You pay the platforms directly through a payment method on your own accounts. We never hold, advance or bill your ad spend.
4. Scheduling, cancellations and refunds
Calls. After you buy a service that includes a call, we will offer call times within five business days. You can reschedule a call once, free of charge, with at least 24 hours' notice. If you miss a call or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, that call is forfeited. If we need to reschedule, we will offer new times, and if none of them work for you within two weeks, we will refund the part of the service that call relates to.
One-time services. If you have not booked or started a one-time service within 60 days of purchase, it expires and is not refunded. Once the work has been delivered, it is not refundable.
Monthly services. Monthly services have the minimum term stated in your order. After the minimum term, they continue month to month until either of us cancels with 30 days' written notice, by email. There are no refunds for partial months.
Fixed-period engagements. Because they are planned around set dates and reserved capacity, fixed-period engagements are not refundable once the start date has passed or the work has started. If you cancel before then, we refund what you have paid, less any amount stated in your order as non-refundable.
If you stop responding. If you stop responding for more than 30 days during any service, we may close the engagement, hand over whatever has been built, and treat the fees paid as earned.
If a payment fails or is charged back, we may pause or end the service until it is resolved.
5. Your accounts and your data
Your ad accounts, Business Managers, pixels, product feeds and analytics properties belong to you. Where we create any of them as part of a service, we create them in your name and under your ownership. We work in them as a partner or user, and we remove our access when the work is done. Campaigns, audiences, tracking and ad creative we build inside your accounts stay with you.
You are responsible for the information collected through your ads, landing pages and lead forms, including your customers' personal data. That data is collected under your privacy policy and your legal obligations. We access it only as needed to do the work and do not use it for any other purpose.
You are responsible for making sure that the claims, offers and images in your ads are accurate, that you hold the rights to any material you give us, and that your ads comply with platform policies and the rules of any regulator or industry body that governs your business. We will flag anything we think is a problem, but the final responsibility is yours.
Some creative we produce may be made with AI-assisted tools. We will ask for your approval before any creative we produce runs on your accounts.
6. What you need to do
For any service to work, you agree to:
- give us the access we ask for, on time (for reviews, at least 24 hours before the call or start of work)
- attend the calls you book
- review and approve work within a reasonable time
- supply the offers, product information and brand assets we need
- tell us about anything that affects your campaigns, such as changes to your product, pricing, inventory, website or promotions
- pay the platforms for your own ad spend
Changes to your website, app or code stay with you or your developers unless your order says otherwise.
7. No guarantees
Advertising results depend on many things outside our control, including your market, your product, your pricing, your website, how your team follows up, and changes the platforms make. We will do skilled, thoughtful work and tell you plainly what we see. We do not guarantee any level of leads, calls, sales, revenue, ROAS or growth from any service, free tool or content, and nothing on the website or in our conversations should be read as a promise of results.
Our reviews, recommendations, reports and plans, including any plan produced by a free tool, are our professional opinion based on what we can see at the time. Whether and how you act on them is your decision.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PixelFolk Inc.'s total liability to you for anything arising from these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service the claim relates to. For monthly services, that means the fees for the month in which the claim arose. Free tools and content are provided without charge, so no amount is payable for claims relating to them. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost business, or for anything caused by an advertising platform, including account restrictions, ad disapprovals, platform changes or outages.
9. Need a full team?
Optimize My Ads services are deliberately scoped. If you need a full team across several channels, with dedicated creative production and more frequent contact, that is our full-service agency, PixelFolk (pixelfolk.ca). Any engagement with PixelFolk is governed by its own terms.
10. Independence
Optimize My Ads and PixelFolk Inc. are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok or Shopify. Any mention of past employment at those companies describes the experience of our team, not a current relationship.
11. Confidentiality
We keep your business information, performance data and strategy confidential and use it only to deliver the service. You agree to keep confidential any non-public information about our methods, pricing and processes, and not to redistribute our recordings, transcripts, reports or plans beyond your own business. We may describe our work for you in general terms, without naming you, unless you agree in writing to be named or to provide a testimonial.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new date. Changes apply to purchases made after that date, and to monthly services from the start of the next billing month.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, though we'd both rather sort it out over email first.
